The QA Academy, a division of QA Consulting, is a leading provider of Consulting services to world leading Commercial and Financial institutions, as well as some of the UK’s largest Government departments.

The QA Academy offers expert training across a variety of technology within the IT sector. Once a recruit has successfully completed the relevant training, they then go on to represent QA Consulting at one of their many high-profile clients.

WHAT THEY WANTED.

THE BRIEF


QA Academy were aiming to increase the number of candidate applications for their graduate training scheme. They were targeting recent or upcoming university graduates within a particular group of subjects.

Huge lead growth targets were in place for the end of 2016 and any proposed solution needed to cost in according to their current marketing and acquisition activity.

WHAT WE DID.

Our Approach


We recognised two major elements of the brief which would dictate our approach for the project; the distinct level of targeting and the short time skills to hit such targets. This quickly led us to a paid social approach, allowing us to get in front of the exact audience we were targeting – at volume.

The ability to ensure this activity delivered the required level of cost efficiency came down to how well we engaged each user and converted them once we had driven them to the site.

We worked closely with the internal marketing team at QA to develop a series of ad messages and landing pages to find the best converting route for our target audience. Constant monitoring and optimisation lead to some fantastic results.

MountDigital not only increased the number of overall leads by 51% but did so at 56% less than the average cost per acquisition (CPA) of their other activity.
